Start with the hilltop Garh Palace. Step inside the magical Chitrashala (Painting Hall) and get lost in its centuries-old, vibrant frescoes. Climb up to the palace ramparts for that wow moment — a breathtaking panorama of Bundi’s iconic blue houses, lakes, and the surrounding Aravallis. It’s a dream for photographers.

Next, dive into the soul of Bundi on a heritage walk through the old city. Wander through narrow lanes, past colourful houses and bustling life. Stop for a steaming cup of Bundi’s famous masala chai at a local chai stall, stroll through the vibrant vegetable market, chat with locals, and truly feel the town’s slow, authentic rhythm.

The highlight is the magnificent Raniji-ki-Baori — one of India’s most beautiful stepwells. Descend its ornate steps and admire the intricate carvings and incredible symmetry that make it an architectural marvel.

On your way back, make a serene stop at Jait Sagar Lake to photograph the reflections of the Sukh Mahal Palace on the water — the perfect, peaceful end to your Bundi adventure before heading back to Jaipur.
