What You’ll Do

Your wild adventure begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Jaipur at 10:00 AM. Enjoy a comfortable 2.5-hour drive to Sariska Tiger Reserve in your private AC car as your guide shares stories of the Aravalli wilderness and the Maharajas who once hunted here.

12:30 PM - Arrive at the Jungle Resort. Check-in, relax for a bit and freshen up. Enjoy lunch at the lodge amidst the jungle surroundings.

2:30 PM - Switch to your Private Open 4x4 Jeep (6-seater, for your group only). This is YOUR jeep — no sharing, full flexibility to stop for photos and tracks.

Embark on a thrilling afternoon jungle safari through the dry deciduous forests, rocky valleys, and grasslands of Sariska. With your private naturalist's sharp eyes, track tigers, leopards, and other wildlife. Keep your camera ready for sambhar, chital, nilgai, wild boars, langurs, and vibrant birds like peafowls, crested serpent eagles, and Indian pitta.

Inside the reserve, discover hidden gems — the 6th-century Neelkanth Mahadev Temples.

After the safari, begin your relaxing drive back to Jaipur and you will be dropped back to your hotel / any location in the city by 8:00 PM approx.

Please Note: Safari timings are fixed by the Forest Department and change by 30 minutes as per the season - winter and summer.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Sariska is the closest tiger reserve to Jaipur (just 110km / 2.5 hrs) and the only park near Jaipur that offers 100% PRIVATE open jeep. Unlike Ranthambore (shared Canter/Gypsy with 20 people), in Sariska you get your own jeep for your group only, with full flexibility to stop for photos.

For tiger sighting chance: Ranthambore is better (more tigers, more sightings). For private experience, price and distance: Sariska is better. Sariska = 2.5 hrs from Jaipur, private jeep, lower cost. Ranthambore = 4 hrs from Jaipur, shared jeep/canter, higher cost, but more tiger sightings. If you have only one day and want a private, hassle-free safari, choose Sariska.

Sariska currently has 25+ tigers. Tigers were reintroduced here in 2008 after they became extinct. The population is now stable and growing.

Tiger sightings are never guaranteed - tigers live freely in the wild. Chances in Sariska are lower than Ranthambore, around 20-30% vs 60-70% in Ranthambore. But Sariska has excellent chances for leopards, hyenas, deer, nilgai and 200+ bird species. Morning safari has slightly better chances.

Safari timing is fixed by Forest Dept and changes with season:
Morning: 6:30 AM - 9:30 AM (winter), 6:00 AM - 9:00 AM (summer)
Afternoon: 2:30 PM - 5:30 PM (winter), 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM (summer)
We confirm exact reporting time 24 hours before tour.

No sharing. You get your own private open 4x4 Gypsy (6-seater) exclusively for your group. One jeep = max 5-6 guests + driver + naturalist. This is included in price.

For morning safari: Pick-up 5:30 AM, drop 1:30 PM. For afternoon safari: Pick-up 12:00 PM, drop 8:00 PM. Total duration is 9-10 hours including driving, safari and lunch.

We need full name, age, gender and ID copy (Aadhaar / Passport / Driving License) for all guests at least 24 hours before, as per Forest Dept rules. Carry same original ID on safari day.

Wear neutral / olive / brown / khaki clothes - avoid bright colors and black. Carry jacket / scarf for morning safari (Nov-Feb is very cold in open jeep), sunglasses, cap, sunscreen and camera. Carry cash - network is poor inside.

No. We stop at a jungle lodge / restaurant near Sariska after safari. Lunch is at your own expense. You can order Rajasthani thali.

As per Forest Department policy, once safari is booked, the safari permit fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. Car and guide portion is free to cancel up to 24 hours before.

Oct to March is best - pleasant weather and better wildlife movement. April to June is very hot but best for tiger sightings near waterholes. Park is closed during heavy monsoon (usually July-Sept, dates announced yearly).
