Meet the skilled local artisans and see their beautifully hand-carved wooden blocks up close. This textile tour is a first-hand introduction to the art of block printing. We’ll walk you through the entire process — from carving the blocks and printing with vibrant, eco-friendly dyes to the final washing that brings the colours to life.
By the end of the tour, you’ll have a clear understanding of the technique. Then it’s your turn — try your hand at block printing and create your own souvenir. Choose from: Free Size Apron, Short Scarf, Long Scarf, Placemats (Set of 4), Napkins (Set of 2), Table Runner or Tote Bag (1 item per person), and take your hand-printed creation home as a unique souvenir.

You can choose 1 item per person to print from: Free Size Apron, Short Scarf, Long Scarf, Placemats (Set of 4), Napkins (Set of 2), Table Runner or Tote Bag. All materials are included.
Yes. You can print additional items for just INR 600 per extra item, payable directly at the workshop.
Pick-up and drop-off is included if you select that option at checkout. If you didn't select it, we can still arrange it for an additional fee on request - just message us.
Yes. A lift is available, but please contact us in advance if you have mobility needs so we can assist you.
We recommend avoiding white clothing, as you’ll be working with natural dyes which can stain.
Colours are mixed in advance and multiple hand-carved block designs are available for you to choose from. Custom colour preferences are not possible.
Yes, you will take your hand-printed souvenir home on the same day after the washing and drying demo.
